What's this blog about

Over my thirty years of trading commodities I have found that many of the most profitable trades have been in the equities of commodity-related companies. The trades in this blog will be long, short or long/short pair. Sometimes there will be positions in both equities and commodities.

The nice thing about writing a blog is that it forces me to document things - before I run off half-cocked and do something stupid. I'll try to give a logical narrative of the trade without a lot of data or numbers. Of course, I do push a lot of numbers to get these ideas.

I personally own every position I advocate.
